Hoffentlech geschitt eppes!

Hoffe mer mol, dass ‘The Happening’ lo endgülteg dem Shyamalan säin läschte Credit zerstéiert … (jo, ech wees, hien ass schon amgaang ‘Avatar’ ze verfilmen).

Bis lo 25% bei Rottentomatoes an eng vernichtend Kritik bei SpOn (net dass dat onbedëngt muss vill heeschen).

Ausser ‘Sixth sense’ woren all seng Filmer 1A pseudomystico-religéisen Schrott. A wann schon mystesch/philosophesch, dann awer 100x léiwer eppes wéi ‘The Fountain‘.

Jo, ech wees. Les goûts et les couleurs.

Update: Hei nach en Kommentar vun engem, deen usech nach éischter en Shyamalan Fan ass …

“The Happening” is a terrible, terrible movie. I mean, it’s bad on an epic scale. It’s so bad that I can’t possibly tell you how bad it is without understating the point or making it sound like I’m picking on the film. But let me stress: this is not pent-up Shyamalan aggression or a desire to see him fail. This is bad in a jaw-dropping “they can’t really be serious, can they?” kind of way. The closest comparison I can draw is to Neil LaBute’s “Wicker Man” and, like that film, the only consolation I can offer potential theater-goers is that you might want to see it just to be in on the ground floor when the film gets its ass handed back to it.

Wow, lo just nëmmen nach 14% op Rottentomatoes … an den Shyamalan get lo sou vun Reuters zitéiert:

“I wanted it to be a fantastic, fun B-movie,” Shyamalan told Reuters in a recent interview about the eighth film he has written and directed. “The No. 1 thing is I want people to say: ‘That was a really fun B-movie.'”

    Sécher ….
